Zombie Girl 2
I've been on a Zombie kick recently, so I thought that this would be fun subject matter to show some ZBrush work.

Ryo
This is a more realistic character study. The body was polygonaly modeled from scratch using photographic reference. The face was initially modeled using NURBS and then later converted to polygons. She is fully articulated using a rig that I designed, and includes base set of 30 facial expressions and mouth poses. The final render was done in Mental Ray using Subsurface Scattering.

Ku-ran-jo
This environment is loosely based on Kowloon Walled City that once stood just outside Hong Kong city. Textures were adapted from photos of the original location, as well as selected other locations. I used Maya’s 3DPaint tools and Photoshop to create textures and manipulate the photographic reference. The cloth objects were modeled and “relaxed” into their current shape using Maya Cloth.
